Three time a year, in the summer, the Mt Washington Auto Road is opened for a sunrise drive. I can't think of many better ways to greet a new day than from the summit of the tallest peak in the eastern U.S. This however was taken on the hair-pin turn just above the six mile mark. The extremely thick fog at the summit on this day would have made witnessing sunrise impossible.
